Folks who are unfamiliar with airbrush tanning may easily mistake it for aerosol spray tanning from a can. The difference between airbrush tanning and aerosol spray tanning is like night and day—airbrush tanning produces superior results
Airbrush tanning is all about extreme air control. The spray coming from an aerosol can is poorly regulated by a 10-cent plastic fitting. Because a spray container holds highly compressed air, it usually sprays with harsh bluntness and lacks accuracy. On the other hand, an airbrush stylus produces a spray that can be regulated with your fingertip, and the spray throttle can be adjusted to produce a soft 1%–99% intensity with jet stream precision accuracy. The results are never blotchy or messy. The tanning airbrush stylus controls air accurately to exact requirements for fine delicate delivery to ensure that you get a silky smooth tan.
The particles in a spray can are not fine, which results in a blotchy application and often a big mess. Spray particles from an airbrush are many times finer than the thickness of a strand of hair. Extreme minimization of airbrush tanning particles allow for the most feathered, soft even application possible.
